The Population Research Center consists of three operational units that provide core services to research associates and their staff as well as demography students and postdoctoral fellows. The cores include:
Administrative Core [ link ] that manages center resources, provides grants administration services, organizes a weekly workshop for scholarly exchanges, and supports a pilot research program;
Computing Core, through Social Sciences Division Computing Services, that provides the infrastructure and personnel for a rich array of computing and data services, including the acquisition and cataloguing of data sets and their documentation; and the
NORC Library [ link ] that provides reference services and access to bibliographic services, demographic journals and books, and other reference materials.
