The conference will open with three days of plenaries, sessions, and social events on Wednesday, June 7-9, 2000, followed by a full day of workshops on Saturday, June 10. The conference sessions will be held at the Norris University Center and at other locations on Northwestern’s campus in Evanston. Located north of Chicago along the shores of Lake Michigan, Northwestern is one of the most beautiful campuses in the Midwest.

Fees and Registration

All attendees and presenters must pre-register.

Registration materials with accompanying payment must be mailed or faxed to Social Science Research Computing at the University of Chicago by May 16, 2000. We can accept Master Card and Visa credit card payments OR checks made out to SRC/IASSIST 2000.

The three-day fee covers conference fees, 2 lunches, reception, a dinner event. A one-day registration fee is available for a single day of attendance. To obtain the IASSIST Member conference rate, attendees must renew existing memberships or apply for new membership. Registration confirmation will be supplied to each registrant by mail.

Refund Policy: Registrants who cancel on or before May 30 will receive a refund of the total amount paid less a $15 administrative charge. Registrants who cancel after May 30 will not receive a refund.

Hotel Information

The Conference Hotels are within walking distance of the NORRIS CENTER except for the Doubletree Inn. When making reservations, please mention that you are with the IASSIST Conference to receive the conference rates.

PLEASE NOTE: Since June is a busy time for hotels in this area, we encourage you to reserve your room as early as possible. If the reserved IASSIST rooms sell out with confirmed reservations, the hotels will add more rooms, if they are available.
